"CHIP-IN FOR SAKURA HOUSE"
Golf Classic
June 14, 2008

Thanks to the support of the Werby Family and friends, last year the Gunner’s Memorial Golf Classic raised $30,200 to support VON’s Sakura House, the first residential hospice house in Oxford County. 

We are excited to announce that the Gunner Classic Committee has handed over the reins (or should we say, golf clubs?!) to the VON Sakura House Special Events Committee and the Chip In Committee volunteers to plan this year’s golf classic to benefit Sakura House. 

We hope you will join us in supporting the new Chip In For Sakura House Golf Classic on June 14, 2008 at Craigowan—Oxford Golf and Country Club. We promise the same fun and festivities, as we start the summer in support of a great cause! 

Funds raised from the Chip In Golf Classic will help transform our home into a fully operational residential hospice, with 10 patient rooms to serve more than 200 families of Oxford County each year.  Funds raised will be used to adapt and equip the house.
