Renovations estimated at $1.5 million are required before the house can be adapted to residential hospice standards, and the doors opened. YOUR generous gift can help us complete the needed renovations so VON Oxford can provide end-of life care in a setting so desperately needed in our community.
We are also building an endowment fund of $1 million.
The principal will never be touched.
The annual income from the endowment will provide for ongoing operations - ensuring Sakura House will be here for years to come
Currently only 10% of deaths in Canada are due to a sudden unexpected event, leaving 90% of deaths from life limiting illnesses. This means more than 90,000 residents of Oxford County may need end-of-life care
