Adult Day Programs are organized day programs of therapeutic activities for older adults and those with physical disabilities who still live at home.  We have sites in Tillsonburg, Woodstock and Ingersoll.  People benefit from increased social interaction and stimulation through activities such as exercises, quizzes, games, music, themes, crafts and special celebrations.  Our clients can have access to our bathing program and foot care while visiting the group.  VON provides this program to promote people living as independently as possible for as long as possible in their own homes.  Caregiver relief can be an important aspect of this program.  A hot lunch is served.

Programs run from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm.

YSS Program Model:

• Support/Discussion Group, Guest Speakers
• Skill Development and Goal Setting Session
• Exercise Program
• Hot Lunch in the Adult Day Program
• Recreation in Adult Day Program

The YSS participants have the option of leaving after 1/2 day (3hours or less) after the YSS portion OR staying for lunch and recreation in the afternoon at the Adult Day Program.

The Early Alzheimer Day is for those dealing with the early stages of Alzheimer's disease who would benefit from peer support and recreational and social activities.  Caregiver relief is also an important aspect of this program.  This program is offered every Friday at 570 Ingersoll Ave, Woodstock.

The Bathing Program is available to anyone who has difficulty bathing at home.  We have a technologically advanced, easily accessible tub and professional staff.  Together this provides the most advanced cleaning and bathing possible in a comfortable and  relaxed environment.  Bathing Programs are offered at our Woodstock, Ingersoll and Tillsonburg locations.
